The Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition vs LG Arena Touch Screen Phone

The LG Arena AKA KM900 is touted as a multimedia phone whereas the Samsung 8300 Tocco Ultra Edition is a great camera phone.
Both the LG and Samsung phones come in two colour schemes: The LG Arena Silver and Titan Black and the Samsung Tocco Ultra in Red and Blue variants.

Size and display
The LG arena is smaller than the Samsung model. Both phones weigh 105gms and are light weight. While the Arena phone has a TFT capacitive touch screen the Tocco Ultra Edition has an AMOLED capacitive touch screen. The touch screen of the LG KM900 is 3 inches wide with a high resolution of 480X 800 pixels for brilliant image display. The touch screen of the Samsung Tocco Ultra is smaller at 2.8 inches and has a lesser resolution of 240X 400 pixels, as compared to the LG Arena.

Camera
The LG Arena is not a camera focused phone but it sports an average 5 Mega pixel camera with a resolution of 2592X 1944 pixels for vivid photographs. The camera is enabled with auto focus attribute, image stabilization, LED flash and Schneider- Kreuznach optics for ensuring better picture quality. The camera has geo tagging feature too.
Samsung Ultra Tocco
The Samsung 8300's 8 Mega pixel camera blows away the LG Arena's camera with its spectacular array of power walloped features. The camera has a high resolution of 3264X 2448 pixels for sharp images. Its picture enhancing aspects include auto focus, image stabilization, geo tagging, face and smile detection, wide dynamic range and an LED flash for taking photographs in environments without adequate light.

The LG Arena allows video recording at a speed of 30fps. Video resolution is 720X480 pixels for better quality video footage. The phone has a secondary video call camera for face to face calls. The Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition also has the capability to record video at WVGA resolution at a speed of 30 fps. This phone also sports a secondary video call camera. Both phones have video players.

The LG KM900 has a music player that supports MP3, AAC, AAC+ and WMA audio files. You can tune into your favorite radio stations for entertainment using the LG Arena's FM radio. The radio also has an FM transmitter. The Tocco Ultra has a music player which supports MP3, AAC and WMA audio files. The phone is equipped with FM radio with inbuilt RDS and FM recording abilities for added audio entertainment. Both phones have Blue Tooth connectivity that allows use of wireless headsets for private listening as well as hands free communication.
The LG Arena and the Samsung S8300 Tocco both support Java games and games downloaded from the internet for alleviating your boredom.

Internet
The KM900 Arena supports mobile internet. Its browser supports wap, html and xhtml technologies for a smoother browsing experience. EDGE technology, high speed 7.2 Mbps HSDPA technologies and Wi Fi technology make internet connectivity faster than ever in the LG Arena. The Samsung S8300 has EDGE technology and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA for high speed internet. However it unfortunately does not have Wi Fi connectivity. It also supports wap, html and xhtml.

Both phones have GPRS facility for aiding navigation.
The LG Arena is the ideal entertainment phone and the Samsung Tocco Ultra Edition is apt if you are keener on the photography aspect of your mobile phone.
